OVERVIEW

With experience in Global Marketing, Brand Marketing, Sports Marketing & Athlete Management, I have a track record of building brand energy and momentum authentically through a consumer-first and insights-driven strategic approach. With unique and holistic experience in the Marketing world, I have overseen the development of products from insights to launch, guided brands toward a more authentic and connected experience with consumers, created and executed Global Marketing Strategies, I have fostered and leveraged media relationships to capitalize on marketing moments, and created relationships with world-class athletes that have elevated brands perception and position in the World.

I’m an expert at creating marketing that is deeply connected to the foundation of a Brand, derived from a desire to understand the consumer and target audience truly, what motivates and inspires them, and how a brand can emotionally connect with them to create a shift in consciousness.

With the belief that marketing is a journey, I am a “Big Picture” thinker that aims to adapt a number of marketing styles to connect a brand and its audience, considering both a Marketing Funnel approach and a Fly-wheel model to help guide strategy.

What makes me unique you ask? I am a generator, meaning I bring energy to everything thing that I do. This coupled with my superpower of building relationships and rapport with people positions me as a valued team member and leader in both my personal and professional life.

BACKGROUND

I am a passionate kiwi who was drawn to North America through sport and the love of the great outdoors. But what brought me here?

I have been fortunate to grow up in a very nomadic family, always traveling and moving from one location to the next. I have grown up in the Philippines, and parts of Vietnam as well as being raised in New Zealand.

After studying both Sport and Exercise Science as well as Management at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand, I decided to add another string to my bow and become a High School teacher. After a year of teaching, my desire to travel the world got the best of me and I once again departed New Zealand to explore the rest of the world. I have always been very involved with sports at high levels, which has enabled me to travel the world in pursuit of these passions. After a season spent coaching snowboarding on the slopes of Breckenridge, CO, my affinity for the mountains grew and I knew it wouldn't be long before I found myself back in North America.

in 2011, Vancouver, Canada was my first port of call, driven by my passion for racing mountain bikes. After a nine-year stint in Vancouver, my Wife and I decided our next life move would be to the States, knowing our career paths would flourish in this neck of the woods.

My life has been shaped by adventure, by the love of Sport and travel, and what these pursuits can teach us about life.

This is but a small teaser to my life, but one I am super proud of.
